The past 3 weeks have been...well there is no word to really describe the past 3 weeks as far as running goes. My foot is getting back to being near 100%, but the 3-5 week break after my injury definitely set me back.
Today was probably the first run in a long time I didn't feel like I was exerting a ridiculous amount of effort for a casual 3 mile run. According to my garmin my average HR was 158 and I was going at a 8:55/pace...slowly making my way back.
Sounds like everyone has been injured recently, taking some time off, or just swamped with work (or all 3!).
That's a good pace! You'll be back quicker than you think.
